​Masterclasses

  • Open to all nationalities and all ages to apply for registration.
  • We will select 80 students from all the participants to join the Festival. Only 28 will be selected to participate at the Promising Star Concert & Competition.
  • Students will receive 6 lessons. Among them, 3 lessons will be given by International faculty; 3 lessons will be given by festival faculty. Each lesson will be 45 minutes.
  • All the masterclasses and Promising-Star Concerts will be held at Department of Music at National National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU)​ and National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts Weiwuying Recital Hall respectively.
  • During the Festival, you can buy the tickets at the door as one time passive auditor, or apply here as full time passive participants to waive the entrance fee.

National National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU)​

National Sun Yat-sen University, established in 1980, is a leading public research university located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The Department of Music at National Sun Yat-sen University is recognized as one of the prominent music programs in southern Taiwan. With a strong emphasis on both artistic excellence and academic development, it nurtures musicians equipped with technical mastery, creativity, and global perspectives.
