​Masterclasses

  • Open to all nationalities and all ages to apply for registration.
  • We will select 80 students from all the participants to join the Festival. Only 28 will be selected to participate at the Promising Star Concert & Competition.
  • Students will receive 6 lessons. Among them, 3 lessons will be given by International Jury; 3 lessons will be given by festival faculty. Each lesson will be 45 minutes.
  • All the masterclasses and Promising-Star Concerts will be held at National Sun Yat-Sen University.
  • During the Festival, you can buy the tickets at the door as one time passive auditor, or apply here as full time passive participants to waive the entrance fee.

National Sun Yat-sen University

National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU), founded in 1980 in Kaohsiung, is a renowned public university celebrated for its exquisite natural surroundings and academic excellence. With a convenient 30-minute MRT ride from NSYSU, you can reach the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, making it an ideal setting for young artists to flourish and immerse themselves in the world of concerts, opera, and the performing arts.

Furthermore, throughout the festival, more than 24 grand pianos will be available for all participants to utilize.
