12歲的楊開朗，出生於台北，目前就讀古亭國小音樂班六年級，主修鋼琴，跟隨林英如和廖皎含老師學習，副修雙簧管，由張志瑋老師指導。六歲時啟蒙於李美季老師。他多次參加音樂節及音樂會的演出，如於國家演奏廳參與《向巴哈致敬》，《陳茂萱樂展鋼琴作品系列五》及《大師小作』來自大師的童聲Children's Corner 》音樂會，也曾於各類比賽中獲得獎項，其中包括《第三屆珠海莫札特國際青少年音樂大賽》第三名、《國際大師鋼琴藝術節》明日之星音樂中獲得國際評委榮譽提名以及在義大利翡洛嘉音樂節中獲全額獎學金。
 
12-years-old Kai-Lang Yang was born in Taipei, Taiwan and started playing the piano at the age of 6 under the tutelage of Ms. Mei-ji Lee. He now is 6th grade of Gu-ting Elementary School Music Class. His present teacher are Chiao-han Liao and Ingrid Ying-Ju Lin. Kai-Lang is also minoring in oboe under the guidance of Chi-Wei Chang. Kai-Lang has frequently been invited to recitals such as the “Salute to J.S. Bach”, “Chen Mao-Shuen Piano Series 5”, “Children’s Corner” at National Concert Hall, etc.; He has also been awarded the 3rd prize at the 3rd Zhuhai International Mozart Competition.
