Born in 1992 at Antibes, France, Jeanne made her debut on stage with orchestra at age 12. Since then, she makes regular appearances in solo concerts and with orchestras (Orchestre Symphonique de Cannes, the Orchestre Symphonique Azuréen and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Montréal), in France and abroad. She has won several prizes in competitions, including Grand Prize and Public Prize at the International Piano Competition Alain Marinaro.
Through her career, she has had the chance of working closely with such pianists as Stephen Kovacevich, Jacques Rouvier, and Jean-Philippe Collard.
Jeanne Hourez completed a Bachelor’s degree at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris where she studied with Frank Braley. After graduating, she pursued her formation in Montreal with Dang Thai Son where she obtained a Master of Music. She currently lives in the US, where she studies with Yoshikazu Nagai at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
