Open for worldwide Pianists & Auditors at all age
The Festival extends a warm welcome to participants of all ages hailing from every corner of the globe, providing an all-encompassing opportunity for pianists. To be an active participant, pianists are required to submit a performance video of a minimum duration of 5 minutes. The festival can accommodate up to 80 active participants, all of whom will have the privilege of receiving six lessons from internationally renowned lecturers and festival faculty.
For those exceptionally talented pianists aiming to compete in the Promising Star concerts and, in the event of securing first place, to perform with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, they must submit a video featuring at least two contrasting pieces, totaling a minimum of 15 minutes.
The entire festival is open for public exploration, and individuals may also opt to participate passively.

Located at Department of Music, National Sun Yat-Sen University
The entire festival will be hosted on the picturesque campuses of the National Sun Yat-Sen University and at National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying). The Department of Music at NSYSU is not only one of Taiwan's most prestigious music schools but also situated near the stunning SiZihWan Bay, famous for its beautiful beach. Students will have the freedom to explore the city, immerse themselves in the wonders of nature, and relish in a vibrant week of music and culture.
