Applicants are required to submit both the registration fee and the audition video at the time of registration. The 15 top-ranked music talent class high school students will be selected based on the scores given by the preliminary judging panel, and scholarships will be awarded accordingly. The festival will refund the NT$5,000 registration fee on-site to the 15 scholarship recipients.
For those also registering for the International Maestro Piano Competition, the registration fee remains NT$6,000. However, if selected, only the NT$5,000 festival registration fee will be refunded.
Regardless of whether or not you participate in the Promising Star selection, all Taiwanese music talent class high school students will be evaluated together, and the top 15 will be selected. Therefore, participating in the Promising Star Concert selection does not affect the scholarship evaluation or issuance.
In addition, scholarship recipients will receive full accommodation coverage during their stay in Kaohsiung.
