Opens for Worldwide Pianists & Auditors at All Age
The International Maestro Piano Festival, now in its 7th edition since 2017, offers an exceptional opportunity for pianists of all ages and nationalities.
To be eligible for the festival, applicants must submit a performance video of at least 5 minutes. We will select 80 participants, each receiving six 45-minute lessons—three from our world-renowned international faculty members and three from the esteemed festival faculty. This is a rare chance to refine your artistry under the guidance of top classical music figures. For those wishing to compete in the prestigious Promising Star Concert, a video featuring two contrasting pieces totaling at least 15 minutes is required. The winner of the Promising Star Concert will be invited back to perform with the Taipei Youth Symphony Orchestra—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grace one of Taiwan’s top stages.
The 2026 Festival will feature the "Lively Piano Enthusiasts Program," open to all ages with no requirement to submit video or audio recordings. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants. This program includes one masterclass with an international faculty and one masterclass with a festival faculty member.
The masterclasses, The promising star concert & competition, and the highly anticipated maestros concert series will take place at the National Taiwan Normal University, the Taipei Zhongshan Hall, and the National Concert Hall ant Recital Hall, Taipei respectively.
The festival is open to the public, and you can attend as a passive observer by purchasing tickets at the door or apply as a full-time observer for unlimited access.
