Lin Yu-Chieh is a Taiwanese classical pianist who is currently in the third year of his Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal College of Music in London studying piano with professor Norma Fisher. Yu-Chieh has won over 10 top prizes in International competitions. His most recent award was the third prize at the 7th Riga International Piano Competition for young pianist 2018. At the age of ten, he decided to pursue a career as a professional musician, moving to Moscow to study at the Gnessin Special School of Music with Mikhail Khokhlov from 2009-2017. He graduated from Gnessin in 2017 with a perfect score in piano performance. Since the age of 12 he has been regularly performed in many cities in Russia, Asia and Europe and participated in many competitions, festivals and masterclasses in Europe.
